Use Your Weapons

Woman! Did you know you have weapons that you can use in every aspect of your life? Sometimes we forget that every time an attack comes our way, there is always room for counterattacks. I was cleaning my house one day and realized I felt so powerless. I could not figure out why. Then I heard it as clear as day. Girl, you better pray. Prayer is a weapon. At that time, I felt that even my prayers were weak. Weapon number two had to step in, truth. Truth is a weapon because when we are sure about something and I mean, without doubt, no one can fool us in that area. So, rather than being moved by how I felt at the time, I had to remember what the bible said about prayer.

I wanted to remind you ladies that God will never leave us. God has already provided us with what we need to stand against the devil’s attacks. Sometimes, we must make some moves, but God will make sure we are fully equipped with what we need to make those moves. This is where the armor comes in. Not only do we have weapons, but we also must be clothed in the full armor of God. The devil is always going to bring his best game, so we must always stay on guard. There is no need of forgetting where God brought us from now. He did not bring us this far to leave us. God desires us to walk in love, peace, and joy! To do this, we have to remember who we are, who's we are, and what we have! Here is where the third weapon comes in, praise. When things around us seem so impossible, praise God for what he already has done. Praise reminds us that God is with us. Praise reminds us that nothing is too hard for God!

So, the next time you are having a moment of weakness think about who your God is. Think about who you are and where you came from. Read Ephesians Chapter 6. Then, take another look at your situation! No one can tell you what your God won’t do for you!
